Wenger: Bendtner part of my plans for this season

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that Nicklas Bendtner will remain a part of his first-team plans for the season. The Denmark international has been linked with a move to Hull City Tigers, although Steve Bruce admits the striker's wage demands are a stumbling block in any potential move. Bendtner made 10 appearances for Juventus last season but failed to score a goal during his loan spell with the Serie A champions.

However, Wenger says the 25-year-old is likely to remain at Arsenal this term and could challenge Olivier Giroud for a place in attack. "The chances for him to leave now are very small. If he doesn’t leave, prepares well and is fit, really fit, I will use him," Wenger told reporters.
