AC Milan sack Seedorf and appoints Inzaghi as new Head Coach
AC Milan have sacked Clarence Seedorf and appointed Filippo Inzaghi as the club's new manager. Clarence Seedorf was appointed head coach of the Italian giants in January, replacing Massimiliano Allegri at San Siro.
A statement read: 'AC Milan wishes to communicate that Coach Clarence Seedorf has been sacked, and the first team has been entrusted to Pippo Inzaghi until June 30, 2016.'
Seedorf is dismissed after Milan president Silvio Berlusconi said that he was part of the club's 'past' on Friday. Inzaghi, 40, has been named as the new first-team coach after a successful spell at the helm of the Under 19 team.
