Thierry Henry Takes Up Arsenal Coaching Role

Thierry Henry has taken up a coaching role at former football club Arsenal within the clubs academy Arsene Wenger has confirmed.

The clubs all time top scorer was tipped for a coaching role last year after ending his playinf career and it seems he could be well on his way.

Wenger said "Thierry is making his first steps as a coach".

"Its good for our youngsters to be coached by him.He's been here once or twice. All our former players are welcome to come back here and get their coaching badges. We're happy to have him".

The gunners return to action this weekend in the premier league as they take a visit to Selhurst Park to take on Crystal Palace to continue their bid for a top four finish
