Wenger: Arsenal Can Catch City

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has claimed that his side can still catch up to the champions and claim second spot come the end of the league campaign.The gunners currently occupy third spot after a 2-0 victory over Everton at the Emirates and are now four points behind champions Manchester city after their 2-1 defeat to Liverpool.

The gunners have not claimed a top two spot since the 2004-05 season and Wenger believes should his side continue their consistent display for the remaining 11 matches to go they can climb above City.

Wenger said "Of course it is possible".

"If you ask a team four points behind us if they could catch us and they would say certainly, yes".

"It is very tight. Manchester city are four points ahead and there are plenty of people chasing us in the top four.It's down to consistency".

"We have seen things change quickly in the last two or three months of the season. We have to focus on finishing as well as we can".

The gunners will face QPR on wednesday and would look to continue their good run and could also welcome back midfielder Aaron Ramsey
