Wenger: Reading Were Ready To Die
The Gunners were taken into extra time by the championship side after pegging the gunners back 1-1 before Alexis Sanchez scored to secure the gunners a 19th FA Cup final appearance.
Wenger admitted that his side struggled against the championship outfit "ready to die" for a place in the final.
The gunners tool the lead through Alexis Sanchez after a brilliant pass by Mesut Ozil before Mccleary equalised for reading sending the game into extra time.
Alexis Sanchez netted again in extra time to ensure the gunners passage into the final.
"It was a difficult game against a resilient well organised and physically strong Reading team".
"It was comparable to our game against Wigan last year".
"In the end we got through. We had a lot of possession but it was still difficult to find space".
"I was surprised how strong they were in the challenges. We suffered a little bit and lost some balls we were not used to losing".
