I’ll go to another club if I’m not shown that respect, says Dani Alves
Dani Alves who is set to become a free agent this summer has hit out at Barcelona regarding the way his contract situation has been handled.
The defender feels that his contributions to the club is not fully valued, and he will decide his future after the Champions league final on June 6th.
"From June 7 I'll announce my future. Now, the future is about playing in two finals [Champions League and Copa del Rey]," he said.
"My intention was not to speak, but I haven't been respected with a lot of silly things. It's gone too far. I don't want anybody to influence my decisions. My future only depends on me."
"I may have two feet in the team but I have also got one foot, my body and nearly my head out of the club. I would like to stay here but not at any price. Not only in terms of money but in terms of respect. If I’m not show that respect, I’ll go to another club."
The right back who has been patient with his contract situation, said: "I have been quiet for too long but they have not shown me any respect. I have a limit and I have reached it."
The Brazilian International has been with Barcelona since 2008, making 341 appearances for the club in all competitions and has found back of the net on 20 occasions.
