Cruzeiro vice president: Lucas Silva to Real Madrid is a done deal

       According to Cruzeiro's vice president, Lucas Silva's transfer to Real Madrid has been agreed and will be announced imminently.

 The Brazilian, who started his career in 2011 has chosen to play for Madrid amid interest from Premier League side Arsenal.

He is expected to sign a six-and-a-half-year contract which Cruzeiro Vice President Marcio Rodrigues, expect the deal to be announced soon. He stated, "Lucas Silva's transfer deal is official and a statement will be made soon," he told ESPN Brazil. "The player has decided it's time for him to leave. "We won't have any problem finding a replacement. Various reserve team players are ready to step up."

 On May 24 2014, the 21 year old midfielder who turns 22 next month made his debut for the Brazilian U-20 team.
