Jose Mourinho says he doesn't understand why Arsenal are not challenging Chelsea for the title
During an appearance on Sky Sports' "Goal on Sunday" program, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho said Arsene Wenger has a "dream job" at Arsenal and feels he should be challenging for more trophies with the calibre of players at his disposal.
He said, "Arsenal? I don't understand why they are not where we are, with Manchester City, because I like their team. "I like that team very much. They have very good players. Alexis [Sanchez] and [Danny] Welbeck are important players to add to an already very good squad."
"At this moment Wenger has a dream job that we would all love to have. He has the stability and has the time to buy and sell and wait for success... and wait, and wait... I think he has the dream job.
Mourinho said Wenger deserved respect for his earlier successes at Arsenal but stated that the Gunner's boss has a good set of players to achieve more.
"What he did with the club in a certain period gave him that credibility that he deserves because he is a fantastic manager, but he also had a fantastic situation to be successful," he said.
"When I look at the players and I look at the squad, I really think they have to win."
