In quest for first team football, Petr Cech says he is likely to leave Chelsea in the Summer.
Chelsea's goalkeeper Petr Cech might seek a move away from Stamford bridge after playing second fiddle to Belgium International Thibaut Courtois this season.
While on international duty for the Czech Republic, the 32 year old revealed he does not want to spend another season on the bench.
He told reporters, "I don't know what the club's idea will be. It looks like it works well with me and Thibaut as a duo."
"But that can work for one season only. I don't want another one like this."
He added, "There always will be speculation, I leave it for the summer." It will be important to sit down with the club, with the manager, to consider all the pros and cons. We will see what will work out the best."
When asked about a possible move to Real Madrid, he said: "When a specific offer comes I will consider it. There are offers one cannot turn down."
Chelsea's coach Jose Mourinho stated earlier this month that he will not stand in the way if the goalkeeper were to leave this summer, but he won't sell him on cheap.
The Portuguese to reporters in an interview, saying that "He[Cech] will make his decision."
"He's very mature to make what he feels is the best decision for him and the best decision for his future," he added.
"I will just wait. I would like him very much to stay. I don't waste my time trying to persuade him, because I know nobody can persuade him.
"If he tells me he wants to leave, I will tell him my opinion and my opinion is (that Cech is) one of the three best goalkeepers in the world. Huge money."
The goalie who arrived at Stamford Bridge in 2004 from Rennes has made 14 appearances in all competitions this season.
During his eleven years with the premiership side, he has won 1 champions league title, 1 UEFA Europa league, 3 Premier Leagues titles, 4 FA Cups, 3 league cups and 2 FA Community shields.
