Porto's President Pinto da Costa: Jackson Martínez has chosen to join Milan

       Porto's president Pinto da Costa confirmed on friday that Jackson Martinez has agreed to play for AC Milan.

The Colombia international is expected to leave this summer after being linked with a host of clubs, with his agent claiming last week that a move has been agreed to a top European club.

Da Costa told Porto Canal: "Jackson Martinez has chosen Milan. This is what he wants, I just want him to be happy."

"Before going on vacation, Jackson announced he wanted to leave. The €35m clause is not up for debate and must be paid," he added.

Meanwhile, Milan's President Silvio Berlusconi confirmed that the club need three strong forwards which Jackson Martinez is one of them.

"We need three strong strikers and we are looking for them," he told Antenna 3.

"There's great ambition for next season. Hopefully. It will absolutely be a great year."

"Yes. I am hopeful [Martinez will join AC Milan]. He has scored a lot of goals for Porto in recent years."

The 28 year old scored 32 goals in 41 games in all competitions last season.
